This is a photo that I had an officer that tagged along on one of our foot patrols take. I actually got the photo taken because one of the kids stopped me and said, "Mista, Mista cameera." So, I halted the patrol and gathered a bunch of the kids around for a picture. They all got a kick out seeing their picture afterwords too.

Go-gurt Explosion

Someone thought it would be a good idea to shake the go-gurt and see what happens. I'm still finding go-gurt in the nooks and crannies of our kitchen!

Well, I still have a lot of work to do with getting the ladscaping and patio done, but here it is for now. Crue and I go on it almost every day, and it's been a lot of fun. Thanks to the grill smashing through the side of the upper-deck, we got to have this built!

4th of July

Crue loves the 4th of July- it means parades, watermelon and fireworks! We had a great 4th of July- thanks to all the people keeping our country safe- Thanks Daddy & everyone else in the military!

Meat's Back on the Menu Boys

I hope that this picture doesn't ruin your appetite for meat, but this is how it's done in Iraq. Notice the knife used to cut the meat is stuffed in the guys belt. The soldier in the photo is CPL Siver. He signed up for a Try One contract, and go figure during his one year on the Army he ends up in Iraq, and gets promoted to CPL.
